How I can have a storage unit?

It's very easy!

Come to our facilities in person. Here, you will see the available storage and mini storage units and you will be able to book one or sign the contract for one that meets your needs. The amount deposited for booking your module will be returned when  signing the contract.

To formalize the contract, you must pay the bond, which is one month without VAT. You must also buy the specific high security padlock that we provide. You will need to bring your ID and bank account details.

How do I pay for my storage?

Usually, the periodic payments for the use of your spaces are made by direct debit on the current account that you specify. For other payment methods, please contact us and we will study your case.

When can I access my storage unit?

Whenever you need, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, both in public opening hours or at any other time of the day and any time of the week.

Our customer care phone number 93 270 03 55 or 93 463 65 29  is also ’24 hours non stop’. There, you can contact us at any time for any claim or query that you may have.

For our customers... We’re never closed!

 

Are my belongings safe?

Of course! As in your own home or workplace, and if you allow us, even more. We are a high security enclosure. Our facilities have the latest generation safety equipment and access control:

  1. Fire detection system
  2. Fire fighting Equipment
  3. Burglar alarm connected to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC)
  4. Closed Circuit Television (CCTV)
  5. Double access control
  6. Unique security padlock for each storage and mini warehouse

 

Almost like having the fire station next door!

 

Is there any kind of Insurance?

Yes. Our storage units and mini warehouses have a basic comprehensive insurance coverage of goods held by our users. The amount insured varies depending on the size of the rented space. If desired, the amount of this basic coverage is expandable according to your requirements, with the payment of an additional fee.

With insurance coverage... Just in case!

 

How long can I use my storage?

As long as you need. Neither more nor less. However, the minimum stay period is one month. Although, to be true... We’d love you to stay with us forever!

 

How far in advance do I have to warn you if I leave my unit?

The minimum notice period is fifteen days.

 

Although we insist... We would like you to stay with us forever!

 

Can I change my storage unit?

Indeed! We always end up finding the right solution for you, but we will need to check the availability of the storage size that you need.

The storage rooms are not forever like diamonds!

 

Can I share my storage unit or mini warehouse?

Yes!  Sharing your storage or mini warehouse with a friend or relative will reduce further the cost.

How much does a storage unit cost?

Here at Central Trasteros, we have the cheapest  storage units and mini warehouses.   We have spaces of different sizes (from 1m ³ to 25m ³) and each space  has a different price depending on its capacity.

Can I enter the enclosure in my own vehicle?

Yes. Central Trasteros has defined a loading and unloading area for vehicles within the site, where you can stay or leave to bring your belongings. In this area, you will also find various aids such as carts, ladders, etc. that are at your disposal in order to transport your goods to your storage unit.

Forget about paying the Zona Blava to come to Central Trasteros!

 

What can I store in Central Trasteros?

 

Almost anything: furniture, tools, bicycles, personal objects, documents, skis, pictures, toys, collections, clothing, etc.. Remember that for the safety of all users you cannot store alive or dead animals, chemical or perishable goods, flammable, annoying, unhealthy, harmful materials and generally dangerous goods. You cannot store high-value assets such as jewellery, money, gems, securities, shares, obligations or artwork.

We are sorry... at Central Trasteros you cannot leave your spaceship!

 

Can I access Central Trasteros with my customers?

Our storage units are not designed to be workplaces, although of course you can access the site with a customer at any time if you need to show any material stored in a storage or mini warehouse.

Remember we have partners  that provide, for example, services of co-working, which can cover other needs that you have and that complement your use of our storage units or mini warehouses.

And of course, we will be happy if your customer becomes a Central Trasteros user!

 

Is it easy to move around Central Trasteros?

It’s just like moving around your own home or office!

The entire area is on one floor, so all modules are easily accessible and you do not have to climb stairs or use the lift to move through our facilities. The exit of the enclosure is marked in all areas and there are maps that indicate your location on Central Trasteros.

If you wish to climb stairs, we recommend going to Parc Güell!
